Nashville-based Arvo is pioneering the visual documentation revolution with its software that allows users to create branded, polished, easy-to-share resources that may be constructed in just a few clicks.

The user-friendly software company was birthed out of an awareness by its founders  of a need to simplify and streamline company documentation for an ever-increasing hybrid workforce getting lost in lengthy text documents and varying locations of storage folders. Arvo simplifies document creation and storage, saving its users time and money.

“Documenting and sharing my workflows used to take me an hour or more in Google Docs now takes me just minutes in Arvo,” says Stacie Brewster, a contractor who specializes in creating automated sequences.

With Canva’s recent announcement of its productivity suite, Adobe’s acquisition of Figma, and Slack’s upcoming Canvas features, it’s apparent visual documentation isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. While web  platforms are going “no-code,” documents are going “visual.”

“What Millennials are bringing to the workplace are attitudes shaped by the digital revolution. If you continue to create long-form training, an entire generation will be disengaged from your organization.” -Micah Johnson, Arvo CEO

In fact, by 2025, 75 percent of the workforce will be Gen Z and Millennials, who have far lower acceptance of the status quo and demand graphic interfaces. With that information in hand, Arvo is positioned to become a leading go-to software company for those ready to take their teams to the next level in visual documentation.

“Documentation is necessary, but today’s workforce has fallen out of love with long-form plain text documents; they simply don’t get read,” continued Johnson. “Visual documentation is the key to keeping teams engaged.”

Creating a visual document is a completely new experience that aligns speed with clarity and produces results that give the readers the information they need in the shortest time possible. Instead of a confusing folder system that makes it hard to find things after they are stored, Arvo uses libraries that allow a single resource to be shared and organized in any way necessary. When the original document is edited, all libraries are immediately updated.

Visual documentation offers another huge advantage over normal docs: It is perfectly suited for internal company documentation and right at home for customer-facing materials. Revenue teams can create gorgeous client-facing materials in minutes that can be easily shared and look great on every device – without needing a web developer or design team.
